Aurabase Cloud es una plataforma europea de backend como servicio construida con Rust en PostgreSQL 17. Combina una base de datos dedicada, autenticación respaldada por Vault, almacenamiento S3, funciones Edge y un servidor MCP nativo en una infraestructura soberana sin dependencia de los hiperescaladores estadounidenses.

La realización inicial: A finales de 2025, la industria europea del software se enfrentaba a un dilema artificial. Por un lado, la velocidad y la experiencia de los desarrolladores de las plataformas BaaS modernas (Supabase, Firebase), todas sujetas a la jurisdicción de los EE. UU. y sujetas a garantías extraterritoriales de la CLOUD Act. Por otro lado, las alternativas soberanas a menudo estaban fragmentadas, eran más lentas y difíciles de implementar.
El enfoque de bajo nivel: Decidimos empezar desde una hoja en blanco en Rust. Sin Go, sin Node.js, sin JVM. Rust ofrece latencias de red inferiores a milisegundos, elimina todas las pausas del recolector de basura y garantiza la seguridad de la memoria en tiempo de compilación. Sobre esta base, cada proyecto recibe un clúster PostgreSQL 17 dedicado orquestado por CloudNativePG.
Una realidad concreta en 2026: Aurabase SAS es hoy una empresa rentable, fundada en Toulouse, que opera 14 microservicios de producción en tres centros de datos europeos. Sus datos nunca salen del continente y usted conserva el control total a través de protocolos abiertos estándar sin bifurcaciones patentadas.
