Aurabase Cloud é uma plataforma europeia de backend como serviço construída com Rust no PostgreSQL 17. Ela combina um banco de dados dedicado, autenticação apoiada por Vault, armazenamento S3, Edge Functions e um servidor MCP nativo em uma infraestrutura soberana com dependência zero de hiperescaladores americanos.

A realização inicial: no final de 2025, a indústria europeia de software enfrentou um dilema artificial. Por um lado, a velocidade e a experiência do desenvolvedor de plataformas BaaS modernas (Supabase, Firebase), todas vinculadas à jurisdição dos EUA e sujeitas a garantias extraterritoriais da Lei CLOUD. Por outro lado, as alternativas soberanas eram frequentemente fragmentadas, mais lentas e difíceis de implementar.
A abordagem de baixo nível: decidimos começar do zero no Rust. Sem Go, sem Node.js, sem JVM. Rust oferece latências de rede inferiores a milissegundos, elimina todas as pausas do coletor de lixo e garante segurança de memória em tempo de compilação. Nesta base, cada projeto recebe um cluster PostgreSQL 17 dedicado orquestrado por CloudNativePG.
Uma realidade concreta em 2026: Aurabase SAS é hoje uma empresa lucrativa, fundada em Toulouse, que opera 14 microsserviços de produção em três datacenters europeus. Seus dados nunca saem do continente e você mantém controle total por meio de protocolos abertos padrão sem bifurcações proprietárias.
