Overview
What is the GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on May 25, 2018 across the European Union. It regulates the processing of personal data by organizations and grants you explicit control over your information.

“Personal data” = any information that identifies you, directly or indirectly: email, IP address, name, contact details, as well as technical identifiers (cookies, UUIDs).

Your 7 rights
What you can request
Right of access (Art. 15)
Know whether Aurabase processes your data, which data, why, for how long, and with whom it is shared. Obtain a copy in a structured format.
Right to rectification (Art. 16)
Correct inaccurate data or complete information if it is incomplete.
Right to erasure — "Right to be forgotten" (Art. 17)
Request the deletion of your data, except where legal retention applies (billing records kept for 10 years). Erasure completed within 30 days.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
Freeze data processing in case of disputes regarding accuracy, objection to erasure, or during ongoing litigation.
Right to data portability (Art. 20)
Receive your data in a machine-readable format (JSON, CSV) to transfer it to another service.
Right to object (Art. 21)
Object to certain processing activities: direct marketing, profiling, automated decisions.
Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22)
No decision producing significant legal effects may be made solely on the basis of automated processing (no profiling without human review).
